Players from Carl Junction continued to receive post-season accolades, this time from the Southwest Missouri Football Coaches Association.  The coaches met recently in Springfield, naming seven Bulldogs to the Class 4 teams.

Zak Porath was named First Team running back while also garnering Second Team awards for his play at defensive back.  Seth Hackney was named First Team offensive lineman.  Hank DePriest received Second Team defensive end honors.  Aaron Cervin represents the Bulldogs with Honorable Mention at linebacker, while quarterback Cade Gosch also received Honorable Mention.

Two juniors received Honorable Mention as well, including Austin Osborn at offensive lineman and Joey Braeckel at defensive back.

"With 13 Class 4 teams represented in the area and a number of players nominated by their coaches, this recognition is quite an accomplishment for our players," Coach Bret Gosch stated.  "I am very pleased with the number of players we had selected."

"It shows the respect that area coaches have for our program and recognition to a fantastic group of young men."
