Athletic Director Mike Larson has announced new plans to enhance
football homecoming at Carl Junction this year.
"We
want to make homecoming special at Carl Junction", Larson
stated.
This
year's homecoming game is scheduled for October 12. The
Bulldogs host Lamar before heading into district play the
following week.
All
alumni of Carl Junction High School, and their spouses, will
receive free admission to the game.
"We
want to welcome back all of our former graduates. We are
asking them to call our office at 417-649-7081 in advance so
that we can prepare name tags for each of them."
For
persons unable to call in advance, they'll still be welcome and
receive free admission, but might experience a slight delay when
they enter the gates waiting for their name tags.
In
addition, Larson adds that all former football players and
football cheerleaders will be asked to participate in a halftime
ceremony, where they will be honored.

Members
of Carl Junction High School's football homecoming court have
been selected. The queen candidates and attendants are
(from left) sophomore Korie Johnson, senior queen candidate Abby
Spillane, senior queen candidate Amanda Storm, senior queen
candidate Laura Johns, junior Holly Boles and freshman Fallon
Hickman. A queen will be crowned during Homecoming on
Friday, October 12.
