JV stops Webb City

Carl Junction's junior varsity moved to 3-0 this year with a 4-1 victory over Webb City Tuesday.  Josh Clark, Jake Hale and Nathan Eddy combined to limit the Cardinals to one unearned run over seven innings.

Clark started the game on the mound for the Bulldogs, earning the pitching victory while allowing only one hit and one unearned run in two innings.  He struck out two.

Hale pitched two scoreless innings.  Eddy earned his first save of the season by limiting Webb City to only one hit in his three innings of work.

Alex Walton drove in three runs for the Bulldogs and scored a fourth run after his triple.

JV wins opener

Carl Junction's junior varsity Bulldogs won their season opener Wednesday, knocking off Carthage 10-6.  Sophomore Jake Hale pitched a complete game for Carl Junction.
